Depending on the approved integration, this may include information such as:

• Gender
• Verification/reference identifier
• Other information specifically authorized through the applicable consent and integration

Infopaisa does not intend to collect or retain Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers or identity documents merely because such information may exist within an identity or document platform.

Where such information is not necessary for the Infopaisa service, we will not request or retain it.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may process personal information for purposes including:

• Providing personalized eligibility results
• Matching users with relevant financial products or offers
• Facilitating requested application or processing routes

An eligibility result is not a guarantee of approval.

The final decision regarding approval, loan amount, interest rate, credit limit, premium, investment acceptance or other product terms belongs to the relevant product provider.

4. MeriPehchaan Verification

Where MeriPehchaan verification is offered, the user will be directed through the applicable authentication and consent process.

MeriPehchaan is a Government of India National Single Sign-On platform and its official Application Owner process includes application approval, API access, integration, testing/audit and go-live.

Infopaisa will request only the information necessary for the relevant purpose and permitted under the approved integration.

Authentication credentials used with MeriPehchaan are not intended to be collected or stored by Infopaisa.

5. Consent

Where consent is required, Infopaisa will seek consent through a clear affirmative action.

Consent requests will identify the relevant purpose and information involved.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires consent to be free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous, with processing limited to personal data necessary for the specified purpose.

Where consent is the applicable basis for processing, users may withdraw consent through an appropriate mechanism, subject to applicable law and the consequences of withdrawal.

6. Data Minimization

Infopaisa follows a data-minimization approach.

We aim to:

• Collect only information necessary for the selected service
• Avoid unnecessary identity-document collection
• Avoid collecting Aadhaar/PAN information unless specifically required and lawfully permitted
• Limit access to authorized systems/personnel
• Use information only for identified purposes
• Retain information only as reasonably necessary
• Delete, anonymize or otherwise dispose of information when retention is no longer required, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, security and record-keeping requirements

The notified DPDP Rules require privacy notices to provide an itemized description of personal data and the specified purposes for processing.

Infopaisa may share information where necessary to provide a service requested by you, where you authorize such sharing, where required by law, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
